The Right to Delete Personal Information
The right to delete the personal information we collect from you and to request that we tell our service providers to do the same under applicable law. Please note however, that in such states as California the request maybe refused or denied. Your request for certain reasons, such as being unable to verify your request, to complete your transaction, provide a reasonably anticipated product or service or for certain warranty and product recall purposes, for certain internal uses that are compatible with reasonable consumer expectations or the context in which the information was provided, for certain business security practices, the information being publicly available, if it would restrict our ability to comply with legal obligations, if necessary to exercise legal claims or rights or defend legal claims, or if the information is certain medical information, involves consumer credit reporting information or other types of information exempt from applicable law.
The Right to opt Out of the Sale or Sharing of Personal Information. However, states such as California requires to identify the information for the 12-month period prior to the date of this Policy the information that we have “shared” about you. We do not knowingly “sell” personal information for direct monetary compensation, but the meaning of the word “sale” under certain privacy laws is broad and may include the transfer of information to other parties via cookies or other trackers. Moreover, we may “share” personal information for targeted advertising purposes through such methods. The Right to Appeal in Certain States
If you are a resident of Connecticut, Colorado or Virginia, and we deny the exercise of any of the rights set forth above then you may appeal such denial by contacting us to appeal that decision by going to the “Client Service" page and clicking the button that says “Contact Client Services Team” or contacting us using the information set forth.
Requests for Access, Deletion and Correction of Personal Information
To request access to or to delete or correct your personal information you may contact us using the methods provided on our website. “Client Service” page and clicking the button that says, “Contact Client Services Team”. We will verify your identity using at least 2 data points you have provided to us previously and verify your request by comparing the information you provide to information already in our possession, and certain other measures, to minimize the risk of fraud. We will acknowledge receipt of your request within 10 business days of receipt of your request and will provide a response to your request within 45 calendar days after its receipt. We will inform you if we need additional time to respond, the reasons therefor, and when we will respond, but will respond within no later than 90 days or such other applicable timeframe. You may also authorize another person or business legally allowed to represent you under applicable law to act as an agent to submit requests on your behalf. Please note though that if you use an authorized agent, we may require more information from either the authorized agent or you to verify that you are the person directing the agent. For example, for requests to know or delete your information we may require the authorized agent to provide proof that you gave the authorized agent signed permission to submit the request. We may also require that you verify your identity directly with us or directly confirm with us that you gave the authorized agent permission to submit the request.
No Discrimination
We will not discriminate against you on the basis that you are exercising any of the foregoing rights afforded by applicable law, including denying you goods or services, charging different prices or rates for goods or services (including through the use of discounts or other benefits or imposing penalties), providing you a different level or quality of goods and services or suggesting that you will receive a different price or rate for goods and services or a different level or quality of goods and services. However, if you refuse to provide your personal information to us or ask us to delete or stop selling your personal information and that personal information or sale is necessary for us to provide you with goods or services, we may not be able to complete your transaction. Moreover, we may charge different prices or rates, or provide a different level or quality of goods or services, if that difference is reasonably related to the value provided to us by your personal information.
